Located in the heart of Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Catch & Cut isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a refined experience that seamlessly blends luxury with warmth, innovation with tradition, and every detail curated to make you feel like the evening was designed just for you.

I had the pleasure of dining at Catch & Cut to celebrate a special occasion, and from the moment I stepped inside, I knew it would be a night to remember. The atmosphere is stunning—sophisticated and inviting, with a beautifully designed dining room that sets the tone for an elegant yet relaxed evening. The space glows with ambient lighting, soft music, and that undeniable energy of something special happening at every table.

What truly elevated the experience was the gracious hospitality of General Manager Sherwin Levitis. His presence was felt throughout the evening—not just in the smoothness of the service, but in the way he personally greeted guests and made everyone feel like part of the Catch & Cut family. It’s clear Sherwin brings his passion for hospitality into every detail, and it shows.

But let’s talk about the food—because that’s where Executive Chef Andre Bienvenu and his team shine brightest. Formerly of Joe’s Stone Crab, Chef Bienvenu brings a depth of expertise and creativity that’s reflected in every dish. The menu is both indulgent and imaginative, with a mix of premium seafood, sushi, and prime cuts that take your taste buds on a true culinary journey.

Some standout favorites from the night? The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was the perfect opener—delicate yet bold, with crispy fried rice offering the ideal contrast to the creamy, spicy tuna. The Hamachi Truffle Crudo, with mandarin orange, truffle soy mustard, and black masago, was a refreshing, luxurious bite that I’m still thinking about.

For something decadent and a little unexpected, the Surf & Turf Meatballs (yes, you read that right) were an unforgettable combination of Maine lobster, beef tenderloin, tomato confit, and truffle crumbs—rich, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had before. Equally shareable and satisfying was the Dip Trio: a crave-worthy spread of Crab Pico, Lobster Hummus, and a nostalgic-but-elevated Onion Dip with Chips. Each bite brought a playful mix of flavors and textures—bright, briny, creamy, and comforting. A luxurious start that set the tone for the entire evening.

Of course, seafood lovers will be in heaven with the Alaskan King Crab, served chilled or broiled with garlic chive butter, and the Maine Lobster Tail, which you can enjoy broiled or "popcorn style" with a garlic lemon aioli that takes it to another level.

And for the steak lovers: do not skip the Allen Brothers Prime Cuts. These USDA Prime, hand-selected, pasture-raised cuts are dry-aged to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Each bite is proof of Catch & Cut’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

The cocktail program is equally memorable, offering a well-curated selection that’s as sophisticated as it is refreshing. My personal favorite? The Old Cuban—a vibrant, bubbly mix of premium rum, mint, and sparkling wine. It’s light, effervescent, and the perfect toast to good company and coastal South Florida vibes. Sipping it as the evening unfolded felt like a celebration in and of itself.
